Matching transparency
The parameters below are the only inputs to matching. They are published here in full and updated whenever they change.
For every booking, requests go to the nearest available professionals by straight-line distance, with the earliest profile as the tiebreaker. No rating, price, acceptance rate or other performance metric ever changes the order or the eligibility.
A professional is eligible only when they: are active with an approved service category, hold valid insurance and a verified business registration, have an identity photo and a declared working language, match the customer's optional gender and language preferences, are within the search radius with a free slot covering the job window, and are not excluded by that customer.
Customers may choose a specific professional, ask for an urgent service, or set gender and language preferences. These are filters on the customer's own request, never a ranking signal, and professionals are never told why a request skipped them. A customer who completed a job with a professional can exclude that professional from future matches; the exclusion is private to that customer.
Ratings, acceptance rates, badges, earned commissions, or any other performance metric. These appear on profiles for information only.
We re-evaluate the impact of these rules on a recurring basis and update this policy whenever they change materially.
